December 2006 - making the news...

Deborah Rees was asked to give expert commentary by BBC 1's Breakfast News on executive pay levels. In response to new findings by the TUC, Deborah put a balanced perspective, asking why there is such a barrier to business leaders earning high amounts when we are happy to pay huge amounts to stars of sports and entertainment. New clients on-board . We're really delighted to be working with two new, very different, clients; THUS plc and SpinVox Ltd. THUS plc are the very successful telecomms and voice, data and internet provider, based in Glasgow. We are working with THUS plc on delivering value on pay after aquisition activity. Spinvox are a small, but incredibly fast-growing companiy who have cornered a unique market place - they convert mobile voice-mail messages to text. At the white-hot leading edge of technology, Innecto is helping them develop a pay skeleton to populate as they grow and recruit more people. And boy, are they growing! The two organisations look and feel very different, but both are very close to two of our core specialisms; IT amd fast-growth businesses.

New Websites We are working on the development of new websites due to be launched in early 2006. Innecto Reward Consulting will split from the Recruitment Doctor, and with two dedicated sites, we can include more case-studies, more resources, and a focus on the different aspects of Innecto's work.

The Link Innecto are continuing their relationship with DSG International by developing a project on pay and career frameworks for The Link. This invloves work with store-based employees to develop clear career and competence frameworks.

Risk Consulting Survey We have just published a specialist pay, bonus and benefits survey for a group of insurance companies, specialising in the world of Risk Consulting. We are able to conduct small, bespoke surveys for a designated group of invited participants, retaining confidentiality for all participants. Clients find it useful and cost-effective for a niche group of employees who are not covered by major survey providers.

Pay Benchmarking We are working on a major pay benchmarking outsource project for a financial services client. Many clients find pay benchmarking a drain on resources. We have taken on the main matching for the project, and are providing analysis and recommendations for action.

Data analyst Mike McEnaney brings computerised statistical/pay modeling expertise to the Innecto skills portfolio.
